That glare in his left eye is EXTREMELY distracting. As is the background. Be sure to plan the composition as a WHOLE and not just think of the focal point. Different background, lose the glare, and maybe a b/w conversion w/a bit of increase in contrast and this would look pretty good.

I agree about the catchlight in the right eye. great exposure and skin tones,, possible consider cropping the hair out? its out of focus and makes the lads head look large....

don't take shots of your family, it rarely works

Beautiful eyes...great details....I would crop a little from the top and and some more from the bottom to direct the attention more to the eyes.

Thank you for your coments but only Madanapale understood me. Cause I realy didn't want to show my nephew as well. Only his beautiful eyes were my wanted object. That's why background, hears and others objects are blur. Position of the camera is specially selected to underline his eyes. That is optical feature of wide-angle lens. And it imparts more fun effect to the picture.

I understood the intent, regardless the background and it's contrast (blue object) are distracting from your focal point.

ok well heres the deal, you did absolutely nothing in this piece to indicate that the eyes were the focal point, right now there is very little color to the eyes and they are dark compared to the rest of the piece. The other colors overtake it and the background is distracting. A wide angle lens doesn't solve everything, it hardly does anything here. You needed a slightly different angle and one of my favorite tools called, "SELECTIVE DESATURATION" once you got a good picture capturing the eyes with good light and good color, you needed to make everything in the picture black and white and leave the eyes colored. This will give your piece the focal point you are looking for, a wide angle lens will not do it for u, lol, the other colors in this piece right now don't matter and are very distracting, so selective color is definitely the way to go here

Whle UE is a bit ahem..sharp in his critiques he did bring up some valid points, don't cheat yourself by ignoring the particular critque style of an author. Just take what you feel will help. There are far more picky critiquers out there that you probably haven't met yet
