Description

It's Hole Bible's words. Mark(13:12). That words mirrored the worlds sitaution at this time. The brother kills and betrays the brother... the sons kills the fathers and fathers kills their sons. I'm sorry if I touch some feelings about region.
The Hole Bible is very important to understand our being. It's interesting history book.

Nice photo, subject is cliche along with the photo somewhat but nice lighting and nice placement of the cross offset to the right

Aslo- The bible is not a history book in anyway, there is no scientific evidence of any of it, a religion-a way of life-an important book, YES, a history book, NO

But science have no correct explanation of beggining of life. Darvins theory is wrong, it's scientific fact. Modern historican doesn't deny that all in the Bible is wrong. ... We can discus it all eternity. It's very interesting chapter or our life.

Darwin's theory is a perfectly logical explanation, and thinking it is wrong is your opinion, but to dismiss the theory alltogether isn't right, we all have different beliefs and understanding one another's is what makes up knowledgable people. Ignorance is the right hand of stupidity

@UE: you're right it's logical... but I don't approve that the God created us and Darvin is wrong. Mankind doesn't know What creates us. I think it was some that we can not understand and explain now. I'm realist... I'm very sceptic to religion but I respect and understand peoplz faith and Hole Bible. I only believe in thing that we are created by not accident. Darvin - it's very simple as the religion. There were more hard for understanding processes... :) thank you

Yes well suprisingly I am a religious education teacher, believe it or not from my work, I teach christianity, but i follow presbytarism much more closely, in fact i have quite a few existentialist beliefs as well. At the age of 16 i read "the stranger" by albert camus, and studied some of Kierkeggard, so i'm kind of a hybrid, but translating bible passages to explain to modern children is no easy task, However unlike most people who are very involved in religion, I do not use mine as a crutch for unintelligence, i do not accept things that other people tell me without finding/thinking it out myself. But that's where i'm comin from on this one, lol,
  • thanks bud

Any religious image will bring up some interesting debate. UE syas "to dismiss the theory altogether isn't right." But he dismisses the Bible as a history book. It is indeed a history book. It was written in the past by real people who really believed what they were writing. What it's not is a Science book. Although scientifically, it's been pretty accurate. For instance, Moses correctly wrote about the water cycle way before modern man understood it. Also, the Israelites were taught to bury their feces and not to touch the dead, long before we ever understood anything about germs. I think it was Isaiah that spoke about the earth as being round. Genesis relates the creation of the earth in exactly the same steps as modern science.

Anyway I like this photo, it speaks of something that is close to tha artist. although I think that if you wanted to highlight that specific verse, you could've used creative lighting to do so.

BTW, understanding vs 14 is important even in today's world.

there is no matter of opinion when it comes to the bible being a history book, if it was a history book it would be taught in schools, you are right bible passages are a personal account of a certain time period through a few peoples perspective, 12 to be exact, the apostles, however there is no scientific evidence that they ever even existed, therefore their writings cannot be scientifically proven, ergo making it NOT a history book, however a certain "VIEW" on history, the word history implying factual and proven events

Actually, there's been alot of archeaological evidence to support many Bible passages/persons. Also, not all 12 Apostles wrote books of the Bible. And there are a total or 66 canonical books in all, written by over 40 writers covering over 1600 years in human history. There's also been historical collaborators who have given ample evidence of certain "truths" in the Bible. Josephus being one of them.

yes i am well aware that there were more people included in the writings of the bible and about the passages, since i have read several, jospehus also said that moses was the seventh generation of abraham, which is seemingly difficult to prove if you connect the different information pertaining to it in the bible, aslo;
  • There is no definite time period either because there are several instances where the time in the bible could be interpreted differently, for example: the creation, or how about noah's arc, he constructs it by the declarations of god and follows it to the end, however for some reason he is several hundred years old when he finally dies, the exact "lengths" and "times" in the bible are completely uncertain and impossible to prove. Your supposed 1600 could be more along the lines of 160,000,000,000 for all we know. These issues are huge topics of discussion among scholars, if you want to talk about them topic then i welcome you to post a thread for it, lol

Yes Bible chronology is debatable, but I prefer to stick to it's own time lines rather than go by someone else's interpretation. Yes, Noah was hundreds of years old, but I won't go there now. Anyway, it's fun talking with you. I think we should leave Grandstilov's space alone for the moment.
