The middle one os my favourite. The other 2 are still ok.

hmmzzz, the lines in the chestboard are a bit confusing, making the shot look tilted. Really nice series though!

Nice black and white....good tonalities...maybe I would have used a more fancy chess set.

I like the texture and DOF of the second pic.
Maybe the light is to harsh on the white piece, for me.

Chestboard Lol! Maybe a chess board...

The first is a fake setup and not having anything really to do with chess apart from the pawns and the king being pieces in a chess game.

Second shot is ok but the white queen looks a bit overexposed.

I like that you have tried to play with light and angles in the 3 shots!

Keep sharing more on this theme... it is endless!

simple shot, very simple concept yet excecuted surprisingly well, this seems more of an advertising type shot, very simple but done tastefully and pretty well, nice job my friend

@moserArtist: I didn't want to make really game party, because... I wanted to show some abstract and symbolic. The first one is "stategy" (here is little of philosophy) I can't told the idea, cause I 'll sit here with dictionary all night to explain that.... second - "Check" ... last - "Mate". About overexposed... I don't think so....coz the figures are little have clarity and light doesn't repel from surface of queen. That's why it seems overexp. Thank you!.

I like the feel of these images but REALLY dont like the position of any of the pieces as none of them are possible in a real game...

I´m agree with MrBlue. I think too that the first one is superfluous because breaks the secuence, I can`t really understand it. I don`t think why but I imagin the caesar`s murder looking this one
